Behaviour support teacher

TeachingExpertise Article
Behaviour support teachers are employed by the LEA and are part of a behaviour support service.
They will help the school to establish and maintain an effective whole-school behaviour policy. They often work with individuals or groups of children with emotional and behavioural difficulties within school. They can also run training sessions for teachers, teaching assistants and parents on any aspect of school and home life to do with emotional and behavioural issues.
