One of the reasons I have gone rather quiet recently is that I have been doing some work on Learning Outside the Classroom. So I was really interested to see the poll that is going on at the moment about visits. Great to see that the majority of people are confident about taking visits outside school.
Being a governor at a primary school, I am actually interested, however, in the sorts of Learning outside the classroom that goes on in school grounds (and possibly in the very near community). I wonder if anyone out there can tell me of any good practice they have? Specific examples would be great as would wider issues such as progressive planning and flexible timetabling to fit LOtC into the curriculum.
Many thanks
