Conference Description

Date: Tue 18/11/2008

Location - Central London

Amongst the various fundamental revolutions currently taking place in the education system is one recognising creative thinking as a more effective and beneficial means of learning.
But how does creative learning relate to creative teaching? How should early years teaching be organised to nurture creativity and how is creative learning different to effective learning?

The Nurturing Creativity in Early Years conference is specifically designed for Early
Years and child care professionals to help you nurture and develop creative thinking skills for children in your care. Creativity is commonly understood as a part of play, however this conference will also focus on creative thinking as a process and applicable to all learning. If a child enjoys learning he/she will be more apt to not only learn the facts at hand but perhaps draw fresh conclusions from them.

Our expert speakers will help you to:

  • Use latest research to develop creativity in early years education.
  • Develop the importance and benefits of movement and imaginative play.
  • Gain strategies for encouraging inclusive activities for all.
  • Work effectively with artists and other creative professionals to enrich your children’s experience.
  • ...and a great deal more.

Plus, all delegates will get access to a unique website where they can download the speakers’ presentations.
