Since the Government passed the 2007 Admissions Code, the difficulties of organising ‘fair and transparent’ admissions arrangements have never been far from the limelight.
The Code introduced for the first time mandatory admissions requirements; Admissions Authorities must now act in accordance with the Code’s demands. What problems has this raised for your Admissions Authority? For example how has the increased emphasis on parental choice affected you?
