Conference Description

Date: Fri 27/06/2008

Location – Central London (venue to be confirmed to delegates)

Due to the NUT strike, this conference has been postponed from the 24 April 2008 to the 27 June 2008.

How can you drive enterprise education forward and equip students with the key skills they need to succeed in the world of work?

The 4th annual Enterprise Education conference will answer the questions that you have about developing a whole-school vision for enterprise in your organisation. Our expert speakers will provide you with the tools you need to make your establishment a leader in enterprise.

This conference will help you to:

  • Embed enterprise in your curriculum.
  • Discover how to be innovative with enterprise.
  • Motivate students – and staff – to embrace enterprise.
  • Use enterprise to engage challenging students.
  • Make your school a leader in enterprise.

We are delighted to welcome leaders in the field who will explore with you the challenges at the heart of driving enterprise forward.

Matthew Evans, assistant headteacher at Forest Boys School and winner of the National Award for Enterprise, will show you how being inventive with enterprise at his school has really engaged his students, leading to a thriving enterprise culture at Forest Boys School.

We are also thrilled to welcome as a keynote speaker Paul Delbridge-Smith, National Programme Coordinator at the Schools Enterprise Education Trust (S’EEN). Paul will update you on the work of S’EEN so that you find out what is new for enterprise hubs in your area and what S’EEN has planned in order to put enterprise on the map for schools around the country.

Also, all delegates will get access to a unique website where they can download the speakers’ presentations – helping you to return to your school and ensure all your staff are motivated, confident and well-trained.
