Activities for developing skills

This series of classroom activities will be useful for SENCOs, teachers, assistants and mentors. Each page focuses on a different skill set – from spatial awareness to visual discrimination to semantic knowledge

Each article includes some pointers for identifying children who may have difficulties in the specific area. The list of activities then follows. Suggestions for using games, group activities, stories and songs are all included. They will be particularly useful to SENCOs.
