All Boys EBD Maths Coordinator

**Salary dependant on experience

Are you an experienced and fully qualified Mathematics Teacher/Coordinator seeking a permanent post this September?

Do you have the temperament and tenacity to teach 44 EBD boys/young men aged between 10 – 16yrs?

This Surrey based Special School consists of several impressive and educational buildings set in the leafy countryside, easily accessible by road and rail. This school houses 44 boys/young men who require special residential education to help them manage a variety of BESD (behavioural, emotional and social difficulties).

You must be a qualified Secondary Maths teacher with QTS with excellent classroom management. Due to the nature of these pupils you must have a calm temperament and a passion to make a difference to these young lads.

Small teaching groups are available to all pupils and the school has a highly skilled and experienced staff, including a specialist therapists and an ‘outreach’ team to support pupils’ parents and families. Pupil progress is often outstanding and personal achievements very significant. The 2005 SAT’s results between Key Stage 2 and 4 placed the school in the top 5% of all school!

This position is to begin in September and requires an experienced Mathematician to develop and improve pupil learning aiding pupils with their GCSE’s. A valid CRB is ideally required!
