We want teachers and organisations to share their ideas and experience and showcase excellent work being carried out in schools or classrooms. Our vision is that wherever possible, Teaching Expertise will be written by successful practising teachers who have passion and enthusiasm for their work.
If you are interested in writing an article or feature for Teaching Expertise, here is some further guidance to help you get started:
- All articles need to be submitted in Word format along with any graphics or photographs that you wish to use. It is possible for us to insert photographs on your behalf at a later date if needed. All digital images need to be at least 300 dpi, although it is very easy for us to scan prints or other images for you. Read more writing guidelines and tips!
- A member of our advisory panel will review your article and we may subsequently come back to you with suggestions for changes or alterations before it can be accepted for print in an edition of Teaching Expertise. We will then advise you of the deadline for submission of your finished piece. Read more about what happens next!
- You will be asked to sign a copyright agreement form 105k PDF) before we print your work. This will still enable you to use your article in other ways in the future, although you will need to either make significant changes to it or ask permission from TEX (and subsequently acknowledge its source) before it is published elsewhere.
