**Creative Split Time Table: 60% Dance and 40% Drama
Do you want the versatility of teaching both Dance and Drama? This is a position not to be missed for a true ‘Performing Arts’ specialist.
My clients’ school is a specialist college in the Performing Arts with excellent facilities, including a theatre, drama and dance studios, and state of the art music technology suites. It is a popular 11-18 co-educational school, located in a suburban town within the London borough of Redbridge situated on the Central Line and therefore within commutable distance of North and Central London as well as the Essex Home County. The College had a successful OFSTED inspection in 2008.
Required for an immediate of September 2009 start is a well-qualified, enthusiastic and passionate teacher of Dance and Drama to join a successful Performing Arts Department. You will have the vision and strategy for the further development of the subjects, this is a split timetable with 60% Dance and 40% Drama. You will join an outstanding and high achieving department. This vacancy is caused by the promotion of a departmental member. You will be able to teach Dance to KS5 and Drama to KS5 although teaching Drama to this level is not a pre-requisite of the post.The specialist status has allowed the school to develop creativity and excellence across all areas of the curriculum. Performance elements are being introduced to selected areas of the wider curriculum to stimulate students and help them achieve to their full potential.
