Gambling education for young people

September 20, 2011 //  by Admin

A free training seminar on gambling education will take place in London on 10 May 2007. The seminar is being organised by Tacade, a leading charity working in the field of PSHCE.

The seminar will introduce two new gambling education resources for young people, one aimed at secondary schools and the other aimed at informal youth settings. Each participant will receive free copies of both resources.

Speakers include Professor Mark Griffiths from Nottingham Trent University, who will provide background information about young people and gambling, and Martin Buckiewicz from Tacade, who will set the context for the resources.

The event will be useful for PSHE Coordinators, Education Advisers, Advisory Teachers, Healthy Schools Coordinators, Principal Youth Officers, Youth Service Managers and other professionals working with young people.

To book a place on the seminar or to find out more about Tacade’s work and resources, visit www.tacade.com
