Are you a qualified Geography teacher that would be interested in a maternity cover post from the 23rd of February until the end of the academic year?
This specialist training school has an excellent reputation for teaching and learning and you will be joining a faculty that heeds good results and has a stable and strong team of teachers.
This post has arisen due to a maternity leave which was expected for April but has been brought forward by 6 weeks. The timetable consists of KS3 and KS4 Geography and you will be teaching mixed ability sets from year 7-9 and streamed sets in year 10 and 11. The Humanities faculty has outstanding facilities and 3 purpose built ICT suites for you to utilise. Leadership and support are excellent within the Humanities department and there are several senior teachers teaching the subject for you to work with and learn from.
The school is a vibrant multi-cultural environment with a friendly and motivated teaching team. There are only 1400 students but the classes are small so you will therefore build up solid relationships quickly and effectively.
