Head of PE required for Berkshire Special School! Immediate interview Must have UK experience

Keen to begin a permanent management role within a Special School?

Are you a qualified teacher of PE and Sport with an interest in SEN?

** Head of PE and Sport required! ** Full time Permanent post - Start ASAP!

** High achieving 3 - 19 Special School

This Berkshire based Special School is located on a new site including a residential education facility. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated teacher of Physical Education to lead a dynamic PE team beyond the Olympics and Paralympics.

A successful 3 - 19 Special School dealing with ASD and MLD pupils; they are passionate about effective and inclusive provision for pupils and young people with diverse special needs and are committed to promoting the highest standards in all aspects of the school's work including staff professional development.

Being a specialist Sports College; the school required a teacher of exceptional confidence, experience and ability to drive this department forward. You do not need to be an expert in Special need statements present within the school but must show you have a strong commitment to leading and managing a dynamic team effectively so that every team member can achieve their best and feel fully supported in their own professional development and well being.

The role offers a great deal of exposure to various opportunities including International partnerships, Involvement in nation al projects in preparation for 2012 and full involvement within the Schools Sports partnership programmes.
This is a permanent role for the right candidate starting as soon as is possible. A current CRB would be ideal for an immediate interview and potential start!
