Are you the type of teacher that relishes at the thought of getting stuck in? Do you want to be stretched in a positive way?

This progressive mixed Foundation secondary school is looking for an experienced or newly qualified talented teacher of History for either an end of July or September 2009 start. This is one of London’s most improved schools and has rapidly moved up the borough’s league tables over the past three years, with consistently better year on year results. The school is fast becoming over-subscribed and History is proving to be one of the most successful departments in the school. If you have an excellent track record of achievement in a current or previous school, and you would like to be part of a school that has a clear vision, continues to move upwards and a school that has a good environment to work in, this is your opportunity to jump on board.

You will be a qualified teacher of history with the experience and qualifications to teach GCSE and A level history in this progressive and good environment. This vacancy has come about due to the current member of staff retiring. You will have the teaching attributes that will allow you to stimulate and engage these students in this fully inclusive school. The school is set in beautiful grounds which is easily accessible via all transport links and will also provide you with superb facilities and resources. This is not an opportunity to miss if you see yourself as a creative minded and dedicated teacher who will thrive in a strong department. Applications from experienced and NQT’s are warmly welcomed.
