Are you a qualified Humanities teacher looking to secure a new post from September 09 in a state of the art comprehensive located in Kilburn, North West London?
Come and join an excellent department with strong leadership in a specialist technology college on a 3 term post initially which could develop into a permanent post for the right candidate for September 2010. The post has arisen due to a long term illness and will almost certainly last for the full academic year.
This is an opportunity is available for a talented and progressive teacher specialising in a mixture of Humanities subjects to join a large team of 12 teachers to teach KS3, KS4 and A level teaching is available for a suitably qualified and experienced individual. The school has a good reputation for an urban comprehensive and last year 55% of students achieved 5 or more A-C’s at GCSE and SAT’s results in were littered with students achieving level 5/6. Ideally the school is looking to recruit a teacher who can teach RE up to and including GCSE and History to year 9.
This is an inner city school with 1600 students on the roll with a broad range in terms of ability, aptitudes and educational needs. There will be behavioural challenges to deal with but you have the support of an excellent senior leadership team who enforce a zero tolerance behaviour policy and ensure a whole school approach is upheld at all times.
