KS1 ASD Teacher

**Independent SEN School

**Permanent position – January 2011 Start

An excellent all age special needs school in NW London are keen to appoint an experienced SEN teacher for a KS1 class to start in January. The school caters for pupils with a range of statements predominately ASD and PMLD and is extremely well run by a very experienced Head and Senior management team.

You will be in charge of a class of 5 pupils and will be supported by two teaching assistants. The school prides itself on the staff to pupil ratio and achieves outstanding results year on year.

This is an extremely rewarding and challenging role, and the school would really like to find a good SEN teacher with recent ASD experience. Experience with Makaton and PECs is essential and knowledge of the EYFS curriculum would also be an advantage. The school is in a very accessible location close to public transport links, and is extremely well resourced.
