Learning Support Teacher

My Client mixed Secondary comprehensive in the Lambeth area is looking for a Learning Support Teacher for September. The school is in the top bracket nationally for contextual value added progress and categorised by OFSTED in 2006 as ‘good with outstanding features’.

The Head wants to appoint a creative individual who will bring innovative ideas to this important position. Most of your timetable will be spent working in the Learning Support Unit with students with specific learning difficulties. Approximately 0.2 will be spent in class working with students, mainly on a 1:1 basis.

She will welcome applicants with at least a 1 years experience working in the comprehensive setting. Ideally you will have LST experience and an SPLD qualification. The school is a great place to work with inspired staff and students. Facilities and resources are excellent.

The interviews will take place on Monday December 13th
