May 4, 2009 //  by Admin

‘82% of parents left ‘in the dark’ when it comes to their child’s schooling’. report published by BECTA, 23 March 2009 Last month Becta reported that almost a third of parents feel left out when it comes to their children’s school work. A meagre 16% of children freely volunteer information about their school day and they say that they feel ‘hassled’ by their parents wanting to know more about their

achievements at school.

Is your school doing everything in its power to engage parents and involve them in school life?

Attend the 5th annual Positive Partnerships with Parents conference to learn different methods for opening your school to parents in your community. Achieve effective communication with parents by creating a welcoming, relaxed environment so that parents can feel at ease in your school.
