**Primary Assistant Headteacher - Behaviour Support **Outstanding Special Needs School - Hillingdon **Leadership Scale Depending on Experience

**Permanent Position - September 2009

A position has arisen in one of my client SEN schools for a Primary Assistant Headteacher.
This is a successful Independent Specialist School which caters for up to 95 pupils aged 4-19 yrs who have Autism and Asperger's Syndrome.

The school pride there selves as a centre of excellence. The school is striving to provide effective specialist education and support to pupils and families affected by Autistic Spectrum Disorder allowing pupils to achieve their full potential in education and life.

The school is committed to meeting the needs of its pupils in a comprehensive manner and is currently developing its curriculum and school premises to encompass work related learning and vocational routes alongside traditional academic offers.

They are looking to expand the management team by recruiting inspirational leaders to promote our vision and support the work of the Headteacher, Board of Directors and staff.

You should have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. The successful candidates will have a major role in determining the continued success and effectiveness of the school.

You will be able to demonstrate substantial experience of teaching children and young people with special needs, ASD and also significant knowledge of leadership and management. You will be a skilled and passionate practitioner who can demonstrate an excellent understanding of current national initiatives with the vision to drive the school forward.
