An excellent all age special needs school in NW London are keen to appoint an experienced SEN teacher for a KS2 PMLD class to start in January. The school caters for pupils with a range of statements predominately ASD and PMLD and is extremely well run by a very experienced Head and Senior management team.
You will be in charge of a class of 4 pupils and will be supported by two teaching assistants. The school prides itself on the staff to pupil ratio and achieves outstanding results year on year.
This is an extremely rewarding and challenging role, and the school would really like to find a good SEN teacher with recent PMLD experience. Experience with Makaton and PECs would be an advantage. The school is in a very accessible location close to public transport links, and is extremely well resourced.
