Primary SENCO Immediate interview

A Client Primary School in Croydon is still seeking an innovative practitioner with some experience of supporting students with individual learning needs and able to carry out the role of SENCO. The post offers an opportunity to broaden leadership experience as they seek to extend and develop outstanding Inclusive practice across the school.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about learning and teaching and committed to high levels of achievement for all students. You will be able to provide strategic leadership and vision to support all students with individual needs and have a commitment to CPD including the leadership and development of a team of learning support assistants.

The school will accept professionals with:- * Energy and commitment * Possess excellent leadership skills

* Have the desire and ability to promote high standards and raise achievement

The school itself had an excellent OFSTED in 2007. The Head is an excellent individual who supports her staff in a very caring, understanding way. In her career she has been a SENCO and has a genuine passion for SEN.

This is an excellent opportunity for a current SENCO. The Head will also consider strong classroom teachers with sound experience of teaching SEN children in an Inclusive environment.

The school are readvertising because the Head was not happy with the initial response. Closing date now is Friday May 1st and the interviews will take place on Friday May 15th.
