THIS COULD BE THE JOB FOR YOU
My client a 2 form entry primary school in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham is seeking a good Key Stage 2 teacher to take over either their Year 3or Year 4 class on a long term basis. You will undertake the full responsibilities of a permanent member of staff including planning, preparing and marking all work, attending staff meetings etc. The school is well known for being a challenging teaching environment but policies have been put in place since September which have made huge differences in the behaviour of pupils.
The school serves a community with a diverse multicultural and stable pupil population. A very large majority of pupils speak English as an additional language and approximately one in four are at the early stages of learning English. The proportion of pupils with learning difficulties and/or disabilities is well below average and these relate mainly to behavioural, emotional and social or speech, language and communication needs. Pupils and staff alike are proud of the school and enjoy being part of the community feeling that the school exudes. The school has very good relationships with parents with many volunteering to assist in various facets of school life.
Recent exam results have shown tangible improvements under the new head teacher after a few years of declining results. The school is broadly average in terms of SAT’s results but this is a huge achievement given that pupils start with attainment well below the national average. Maths and Science in particular have seen impressive improvements and the Head teacher is looking at rolling out new initiatives within the school from September to improve literacy. The Head Teacher has indicated that this position would not be suitable for NQT’s. My Head is aware that the best candidates will be snapped up soon so interviews will be conducted as soon as possible. APPLY NOW TO AVIOD MISSING OUT.
