** Science Teacher – Year 7-11 – Highgate ** Training School – 68% A-C GCSE’s 2008 ** Start now or April until July 20th

An excellent opportunity is available for a creative and inspirational Science teacher to teach Science from year 7-11 in a very reputable and successful co-educational comprehensive located in Highgate, North London.

The position is due to a maternity cover and is to start immediately or in April and will last until the end of the academic year in July.

The school has over 1,400 students on the roll with 300 in a successful 6th for where all Science disciplines are taught and are popular. The school has excellent facilities and the Science faculty can boast interactive whiteboards in each class, purpose built ICT suites and a wealth of resources both on and offline.

You will be joining an existing team of 12 including the experienced support staff and technicians. Your timetable will consist mainly of teaching General Science from year 7-11. However, there is the opportunity to teach AS and A2 for a teaching with suitable experience.

The school prides itself on behaviour and attainment and in 2008 the OFSTED inspection graded the school as “Outstanding” in every category.
