Science Teacher – Pupil Referral Unit

November 13, 2011 //  by Admin

MUST have a valid enhanced CRB!Immediate interviewYou must have E.U qualificationMust have UK experience

Are you a qualified Science teacher seeking a full time role

** Science Teacher required – Part time role ** Immediate start – Full time post ** Paid Weekly – view to become permanent

** You MUST be able to deliver Science up to GCSE.

An excellent Pupil referral Unit based in West London is looking to recruit a teacher of Science. The school is well resourced and caters for approximately 100 pupils who have all been excluded from mainstream education. With this in mind, the school requires a strong character with good classroom management techniques.

This role would suit a candidate with a mainstream background and experience within SEN. Either a mainstream or SEN teacher would be acceptable, however the emphasis is on behavior management and subject knowledge.

Ideally, the Deputy Headteacher would be keen to see experienced teachers, as due to the nature of the pupils and potential scenarios an NQT may not be applicable. Individuals that are able to build relationships and rapport quickly and effectively will be suited to this post. In order to work within this environment, you cannot demand respect, but earn it and gain the trust of these pupils.
