One of my client schools is looking to recruit a well qualified and enthusiastic Teacher with a proven track record and good leadership skills.
Together with the SENCO you will be required to lead and manage the responsibility for students with Special Needs.
The SEN Department comprises of 7 Teachers, 17 TA’s and the SENCO. The provision for SEN is recognised as a strength within the school and they add value to the attainment of their SEN students.
The school has achieved Investor in People status and has a well motivated, committed staff with excellent support and training opportunities.
This is a mixed, multicultural, split site school, with a true comprehensive intake. Years 7-9 are taught on one campus and move to the senior part of the school in Year 10. This arrangement is very popular with parents and is one reason why the school has an excellent reputation in the local area, hence the school is consistently oversubscribed.
