SEN Design and Technology Teacher

Pupils aged 7 – 16 with Speech and Language difficulties! Immediate interview Must have UK experience

Are you a fully qualified Design and Technology teacher with UK QTS?

Keen to secure a position ahead of September 09?

** South London based Special School ** Teacher of D&T – Start ASAP!

** Pupils aged 7 – 16 – Speech & Language difficulties

The position for a full time D&T SEN teacher has become available after a recent resignation. This excellent school received very positive feedback through its 2007 OFSTED inspection and is keen to employ an excellent, professional and focused individual on a long term basis up until the end of this academic year with a view to go permanent for the right candidate.

This is a mixed, non-maintained residential special school, nationally recognised as a school which initiated, and continues to lead, the specialist educational field for children with specific speech and language impairment. Working with pupils aged 7 to 16 across Key stage 2 to 4.

SEN experience is required but not specifically with speech and language difficulties. You must however have the temperament and patience to work within a challenging yet rewarding SEN environment.

With an immediate start required you need to ensure you have a current CRB done within the last 12 months.
