Silver Award for Teaching Geography in Primary Schools

January 31, 2009 //  by Admin

A new book from Chris Kington Publishing is 'highly recommended' and wins Silver at the GA Awards.

Fran Martin's book, subtitled 'Learning to Live in the World', is described by the GA as providing a 'wealth of teaching materials and ideas...easily accessible to the non-specialist Geography teacher.'

'It provides a comprehensive strategy to teach geography in primary schools, including clear definitions of key geographical concepts and activities to promote geographical enquiry. The book has up-to-date materials and ideas that link to, and extend beyond, the requirements of the National Curriculum.'
