**Special Needs Teacher- SpLD **Leading edge oversubscribed mixed comprehensive- Islington **Permanent Position – September 09′

**MPS + SEN Point depending on experience

The school are looking to appoint a suitably motivated teacher to work in this highly regarded and vibrant SEN department where students and teachers come first.

There has been excellent improvement in examination results at GCSE, 87% A-C grades in 2007 and fantastic Post-16 results and progression to university (96%).

This really is a unique opportunity if you’re the right teacher. They are looking for a teacher with suitable experience of the SEN code of practice, Dyslexia and a SpLD practitioner to work in a vibrant and cohesive department. You will be required to work cross the key stages, teaching and monitoring individuals and groups of pupils with a variety of special and additional needs. You will also be required to work with class teacher across the school delivering a highly differentiated literacy and numeracy curriculum to children with learning difficulties.

The school would prefer a teacher with experience of teaching students with SpLD but will consider you if you are a strong candidate who can adapt and is willing to learn and improve.
