Required for September 2009, an enthusiastic, dynamic, talented and committed Subject Leader of Technology to join and excellent department with a mutually supportive staff at this successful 11 to 18 school of 1400 students. They have Specialist School Status as an Arts College, and are at the forefront of many national initiatives. A 21st Century (new build) Centre of Learning, using ‘state of the art’ technology to support teachers will be opening in June 2009. You will have the opportunity to teach Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 in particular Product Design, Graphics and RMT. They currently run Post 16 courses in Graphics and Textiles. In joining a large and thriving department you will be given opportunities to prepare yourself for future promotion and help to build on the success of their last, very good, Ofsted inspection.
