This is a permanent position from September!
The School is committed to enabling all pupils to reach their optimum potential. The school provides a quality of education which facilitates the development of:

* Maturity to be successful independent citizens throughout life beyond school.
You should already be an experienced teacher who is determined and motivated and be prepared to work across Key Stage 2-3.

The school is staffed by 15 enthusiastic teachers, including the head teacher and two part time teachers. Supporting them is a team of ten full time teaching assistants.
Most of the teachers work in either the secondary or primary department but some of the work across phase and teach children in both primary and secondary departments. The cross phase subjects are Art, ICT, Music and PE. This arrangement allows for continuity in these specialist subjects when pupils transfer to the secondary department. One of the part time staff, an instrumentalist, also encourages creativity in music on one afternoon a week, and the other part time teacher works on behaviour issues Ethnic Minority Achievement.
Throughout the school a teaching assistant supports each of the classes working closely with their tutorial group throughout the curriculum in all lessons. The teachers link with the support staff in ensuring that each child’s individual needs and targets are met, and that the dynamics and good relationships of the group are maintained.
