Thinking Through English

June 25, 2012 //  by Admin

Thinking Through English aims to help teachers create exciting and memorable English lessons, by teaching critical thinking skills and encouraging independent creative thinking

This excellent thinking skills teacher’s resource allows schools to focus on teaching and learning that can bring coherence and drive other developments, such as AfL, gifted and talented and leading in learning.

The approaches outlined in Thinking Through English highlight transferable skills and thinking for other English activities, and will help to open up cross-curricular dialoge and sharing of materials.

“As an English teacher, I like this approach as I feel it demystifies text for some students – you have the licence to rearrande information until you get an understanding.”
