Looking to develop your current experience within a mainstream Primary school?

A primary school in Wandsworth is looking for a bright and adaptable Teaching Assistant to work within their Year 2 class. The Head is looking to improve the children's attainment levels in both Maths and English in preparation for the SAT's later in the academic year.

You will be working with the low achieving children in both subjects for at least 75% of the week, which requires a candidate with the patience and commitment to aid these children.

Recent experience is desirable but the personality and drive will be the key driver for the Head. You will have the added advantage of working alongside an already established teaching assistant allowing you to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.

The children are all willing and there are a few behavioural problems in the class so it will be a rewarding position for the right candidate. Additional experiences and skills in music, sport or relevant summer camps are an advantage.

With an imminent start you need to hold a valid CRB, issued within the last 12 months.

Apply to this position now by calling Dan Jillions on 0208 518 2611 or sending your CV/resume to dan.jillions@academicsltd.co.uk
