Website of the Month: I CAN

January 7, 2011 //  by Admin

I CAN, the charity concerned with meeting the needs of a wide range of pupils with communication difficulties has an easy-to-navigate and informative website. It includes dedicated areas that provide advice and support related to early years and school phases of education.

www.ican.org.uk

The most useful area of the website for SENCOs, speech and language therapists, and other professionals involved in supporting children and young people with communication difficulties, is the training and information section. I CAN’s conference and training programme is comprehensive and underpinned by a high level of experience and expertise. The website is also a good source of information and potential support for families.
