Knowing angles and how to measure them is an essential concept for future architects, engineers, and mathematicians as this learning area helps students understand the real world around them. Whether it be designing streets or buildings, to telling time with a sundial, you can make learning about angles easy with these 25 awesome activities! 

1. Angles Fan 

The angle fan activity is a great way to depict the different types of angles and their measurements. All you need are popsicle sticks, colored paper, and glue! These fans are perfect for teaching angles to beginners.

2. Angle Doorway

Angle door mats are a simple and fun idea to reinforce basic understandings of angles. You can take the angle measurements of the classroom door each time it is open. You can take this even further by putting it outside with a pole in the middle to create a sundial!

This activity is perfect for reinforcing the relationship between the different types of angles. Using painter’s tape, create angles across a table and try to determine the angle measurement for each one! This can be done without a protractor and can be extended for many other activities.

This is a fun angles activity using masking tape. You simply need masking tape, sticky notes, and something to write with. Draw your starting point and then let the students take turns making different angles by adding on to the last line made with the tape.
