10 Inventive David & Goliath Craft Activities For Young Learners

The biblical story of David and Goliath symbolizes God’s ability to protect us, even in seemingly impossible situations. As a result of God’s support, David manages to conquer the giant, Goliath, and save the Israelites from slavery.

These David and Goliath craft activities are perfect for homeschooling parents and teachers alike. Children will love creating their own smooth stone crafts, slingshots, popsicle stick figures, finger puppets, and more- all while learning about David’s bravery and God’s power. 

1. David and Goliath Lunch Size Paper Bag Craft 

This paper bag craft activity is not only economical but easy and fun for kids to make. Children can use paper bags to create their own David and Goliath figures before decorating them with paint and other materials.

2. David’s Slingshot Bible Craft Idea

In this creative craft, students will make their own version of David’s slingshot out of craft sticks and a large rubber band. Throw in a pompom or some smooth rocks or ping pong balls for a more realistic depiction of this classic Bible lesson.
