In October, people begin decorating their homes and porches with their fall decorations. The most popular items people use for their fall decorations are pumpkins in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Therefore, it is a great time to introduce preschoolers to pumpkin activities. Use this list of 15 perfect pumpkin activity plans to provide lots of fun and learning for your preschooler.

1. Pumpkin Pie Playdough

Your child will love this fun pumpkin craft and have a blast making this homemade pumpkin pie Playdough. It has a wonderful smell, and it is super easy to make. Your preschooler will play with this Playdough for hours!

2. Pumpkin Fine Motor Math

This is a terrific activity to practice math skills and fine motor skills. Print out this pattern or create your own. To complete the activity, children will need to roll dice and then place pumpkin seeds on the same number of dots on the pumpkin. Continue playing until all of the dots are covered.
