1. Make a Blood Model

Using items from around your house, like corn starch, lima beans, lentils, and candy, make your own blood model. This fake blood model is not only an activity that students will love, but it will bring blood to life!

4. Do a Blood Type Simulation

This activity will capture the attention of your students. In this simulation, students will walk through a virtual blood typing game by preparing a virtual blood sample and adding test solutions to each. Follow up with some post-activity questions to assess learning.

This is another blood typing lab test that will engage students. In this lab activity, students will be given a scenario: two soon-to-be parents who are having their blood tested. Using virtual blood samples, students will be able to analyze their blood types

9. Create a Blood Sensory Bin

Using items like red water beads, ping pong balls, and red craft foam, you can create a sensory bin based on blood. Perfect for a sensory activity, or for tactile learners, this blood type model will bring content to life.
