A poster is always good to have when teaching a new concept and to keep up to remind kids of what they’ve already learned once you move on to the next thing. Repetition and visual reminders are important during early childhood development.<\/p>\n

What a fun activity! This adorable number 2 character will catch kids’ attention and be fun to play with too. It also brings in some motor skills with folding and assembly. I can see preschoolers bouncing around the classroom playing with these guys.<\/p>\n

While this is a coloring sheet, it also looks like you could turn it into a game board. It reminds me of Candy Land, but you could make it into a counting game too. Alternatively, it could be a pattern activity. The possibilities are endless.<\/p>\n

Motor skills and math all in one. Kids can either glue pompoms on or dip them in paint and put them on the paper. My son made some crafts by grabbing a pompom with a clothespin and using it as a paintbrush. Any way you use this sheet, it makes for a fun, multisensory experience.<\/p>\n

A simple homemade puzzle that can be useful as a station activity. It’s a good motor practice as well. Just print it out, laminate it, and cut the pieces apart. I love activities that don’t take much prep. While it will go together easily for most, those with OT issues may need some help.<\/p>\n
