What a fun activity! This adorable number 2 character will catch kids' attention and be fun to play with too. It also brings in some motor skills with folding and assembly. I can see preschoolers bouncing around the classroom playing with these guys.

While this is a coloring sheet, it also looks like you could turn it into a game board. It reminds me of Candy Land, but you could make it into a counting game too. Alternatively, it could be a pattern activity. The possibilities are endless.

4. Number Tracing with Pompoms
Motor skills and math all in one. Kids can either glue pompoms on or dip them in paint and put them on the paper. My son made some crafts by grabbing a pompom with a clothespin and using it as a paintbrush. Any way you use this sheet, it makes for a fun, multisensory experience.

5. Number 2 Puzzle
A simple homemade puzzle that can be useful as a station activity. It's a good motor practice as well. Just print it out, laminate it, and cut the pieces apart. I love activities that don't take much prep. While it will go together easily for most, those with OT issues may need some help.

6. Paint the 2's
You can complete this activity in many ways, such as finger painting, coloring with markers, dot markers, or gluing buttons over them. However you choose to use this page, it will help with number recognition skills. Whatever your choice is, makes for a great activity for preschoolers.

Race the clock or a partner to see who finishes first. Want to make it less competitive, then you can use it as an independent activity or homework assignment. Just print and have kids follow number 2 from start to finish.

11. Two's Day Exercises
While this was originally intended for 2-22-22, it can still be used at any time. Kids are given a list of exercises to do 22 times. For preschoolers, I would do them as a whole class and count out loud together. Then they can mark off the boxes with a check mark or stamp.

I'm a bit of a baker, so when I saw this craft, I had to include it. The templates are included so you can just print and have your students cut the pieces out and assemble them. They would make for a cute bulletin board too.

13. Two Wears S
This resource has different 1-page crafts for numbers. Number two wearing shoes is adorable and the only prep required is to print them out. Students color and cut them out! They could be mounted on construction paper and used for a bulletin board as well.

Q-Tip painting is an excellent number activity. I also love that it comes with a cute little poem on how to write the number. Kids love fun learning activities, like this one too! I love when math ideas are combined with the arts.

The creator videoed herself making this craft. It starts with the blue paper as a template and adds balloons to the strings in the hands of the number. It turns out really cute at the end too. This hands-on activity would be perfect for a center.

There are many books that could be used to tie in with this activity. It gives kids a tactile experience with the number two and makes for a cute craft. It doesn't come with instructions but is easy enough to draw out and copy for kids to color and attach something to the numeral.

Coming from the UK, this sheet has kids trace and color the numeral and then color 2 apples. I would have them rainbow write the number, after tracing it with their finger. They could also write numbers 1 and 2 on the apples, to practice their counting skills.

21. Playdough Mat
Here's a fun playdough activity. Kids can form the number out of playdough and also use it to make balls for the ten frames. The glass pieces aren't something I would give preschoolers unless it was under close supervision. You never know what they'll put in their mouths.

This resource provides you with 4 different, full-page writing skill practice sheets. Personally, I wouldn't use the first 2 since it's so many numbers and words to trace. The other 2 are great for building basic math skills. The one that asks for them to circle the sets of 2 objects is a great practice activity.
